WHO WE ARE
Masseria del Feudo is not just a company.
Its history is a family history, whose values and ideals are powered from Francesco and Carolina, fourth generation of agriculture entrepreneurs, who work in a land where innovation is supported by tradition.
Their philosophy is reflected in social responsibility towards the environment and production quality.
Vineyards are extended on a surface of 15 hectares, cultivated by organic farming certified. The most ancient grape’s cultivation started in 1860 and our estate was the first in Sicily to experiment the Chardonnay variety. Today we await the results of the latest implants: frappato and nerello mascalese.
Masseria del Feudo cultivates 13 different varieties of peaches and nectarine on a surface of 20 hectares. Harvest starts in the middle of August and it ends on October, selection of fruits and picking are manual. Average production is almost 600 tons. There are also 3 varieties of plums and 2 apricots.
Among vineyards and orchards, olive trees cultivated with organic method produce a high quality extra virgin olive oil: a confirmation of the continuous enhancement of all the company’s supply chains.
The olive grove covers 3 hectares where the varieties Nocellara and Carolea are cultivated.
It was built inside old farm buildings.
Its total capacity is 2000 hectolitres.
The tanks and winemakers are made of steel and concrete, all equipped with digital temperature control.
In the cellar there is a microvinification line that allows, during each harvest, to carry out new experiments: a research aimed at increasing the enhancement of the peculiar characteristics of their terroir.
The aging of the wine takes place in the rooms of the ancient palmento, now air conditioned.

Masseria del Feudo opens its doors to wine tourists and nature lovers to offer a special path within its supply chains.
It is possible to organize conferences, special occasions, parties and aperitifs in the vineyard and in the cellar.
